Etlas™ is a bioenergy company formed in 2025 as a 50:50 joint venture between Vylor and bp. Etlas connects farming with sustainable energy production by converting cover crops – such as canola, mustard, and sunflower – into feedstock for the production of sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel. Etlas leverages Vylor’s century-long expertise in seed technology and bp’s leadership in refining and marketing fuels for the commercial transportation market. Initial supply is scheduled to begin in 2027, serving both co-processing at refineries and dedicated biofuels plants in the Americas and Europe.
