To Know

You may request that We disclose to you the following information:

Opt-out of Artificial Intelligence Tools

Talent Acquisition at Vylor uses technology by Eightfold AI. This technology employs artificial intelligence tools (“AI Tools”) to help predict how well you match our open job positions. These AI Tools use a matching model based on factors such as the skills specified in the job description for which you have applied.

These AI Tools may be considered covered automated employment decision tools or automated decision-making tools as defined under applicable law. However, we do not make final hiring decisions solely based on AI Tools. Our hiring processes and decisions, including determining your suitability for a role, are conducted, checked, and decided by individuals.

The AI Tools compare information about you with information that Vylor provides about the job you are applying for and generate a score to reflect how well you may match the position. The categories of personal information the tool processes may include your job titles, work experience, education history, skills, and text of your resume or job application. The AI Tools compare this against the job description, posting, and the recruiter’s preferences for the job, such as, desired skills, experience level, or educational background. The AI Tools use machine learning to generate a score that reflects how closely your information aligns with the specific job’s requirements and includes information on how the score was derived for the recruiter to review. This information provides one input, but the recruiter exercises independent judgment in deciding which candidates to advance, interview, and ultimately hire.

More information about this technology can be found here, and you may check the results of an independent bias audit summary of this technology here. If you submit your resume or any information to the Careers Site or join the Vylor Talent Network, it will be processed using the Eightfold technology. As an alternative, you may choose to apply using this link in which case your application will be solely reviewed by a person.

If you are a California resident, you may request:

  1. To opt out of our use of AI Tools. Vylor provides an alternative process through the above opt-out link, in which case your application will be reviewed solely by a person.
  2. That we provide you with access to information regarding our use of AI Tools with respect to you, including, where applicable, the specific purpose for which we use AI Tools with respect to you, information about the logic of the AI Tools, and the outcome of the decision-making process for you, including how we used the output of the AI Tools to make a significant decision with respect to you.

To submit any of these requests, you may email us at hrdirect.usa@vylor.com. We will verify and respond to your request in accordance with applicable law. To confirm that we have processed your request, please email us at hrdirect.usa@vylor.com.

Limit the Use or Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information

The CCPA provides individuals the right to limit the use or disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about an individual. Vylor does not collect, use, or disclose Sensitive Personal Information for such purposes.

Right Not to Be Subject to Discrimination

You have the right to be free from unlawful discriminatory treatment for exercising Your rights under the CCPA.

To protect Your Personal Information, Your request to delete, correct, access, or to know is subject to an identification and verification process. The information required for the verification process will depend on the nature of the request, and We may require additional information in order to respond to certain types of requests. Please promptly respond to any communication from Us so that We may process Your request without delay. If You maintain a password-protected account with Us, We may verify Your identity through Our existing authentication practices for Your account and may require You to re-authenticate Yourself before disclosing or deleting Your Personal Information.
